About Us
Wabalaba is an online community of investors who wish to exchange ideas, research, encouragement and education.  It is a place to connect people who have similar interests in the financial world. 

Wabalaba is a creative idea founded by two best friends Josh and Mike.   The site was built with the sole purpose of members helping each other navigate the choppy waters of the stock market.  This community’s principle is to help individuals who seek to trade professionally, for added income, or simply for entertainment.

Trading for over 15 years, Mike has enthusiasm and passion for the market. His expertise in web development led to the concept of Wabalaba.com. Like many active traders, Mike scours the Internet daily researching stocks.

You can create your own personal blog (‘blog’: noun; short for "web-log":  def:  a defined place where a person can post text, images, etc...  a personal web-page for users who would like to share ideas).  You can participate in message boards ('message board': noun; def: forum for posting strings of communications.  Users can post a question, our thought.  Other users will respond, etc...).   These community oriented features will be policed to avoid profanity, "pump and dumps," “multi-posters”, and otherwise offensive content.  This allows you to exchange ideas, educate and encourage others, as well as be educated and encouraged.  

The “Waba Way”

Here’s a list of general guidelines that Mike and Josh use in our trading strategy. 
  1. Don’t invest more than you can afford to lose.
  2. Be informed.
  3. Be consistent.
  4. Make a plan…trade your plan.
  5. Always take a profit.
  6. Be confident…buying or selling.
  7. Stop the Bleeding.
  8. Never Chase a Stock.
  9. Encourage others.  Make friends.  Be honest about your successes & failures.
  10. Have Fun--Be Successful.
